Your support + our programme

= successful STEM careers

PROTEC’s growth and success is dependent on the generosity and support of our funders and donors, to whom we owe a huge debt of gratitude. We also strive to maintain constructive and positive relationships with a network of stakeholders, including the Department of Education.

We are particularly grateful to the donors and funders who have supported us in the Covid-19 pandemic years despite strain on their income streams, and have enabled significant changes in how we as PROTEC delivered on our mandate.

We implemented major changes as the educational and social landscape shifted for our branches, projects, and for our beneficiary learners, and we believe we achieved more than might have been expected under the circumstances.

This highlights the level of excellence achieved through strong partnerships between funders, donors and our organisation. It also means that the results of our combined efforts will be evident in the successful STEM careers that we have contributed to.

Benefits to funders

  • An improved B-BBEE Scorecard
  • Tax savings
  • Marketing opportunities for their organisation
  • Association with an established NPO with a proven 40-year track record
  • Association with other leading funding partners
  • Positive business reputation
  • Supporting growth in critical scarce skills and STEM careers
  • Employee pride in your involvement

The biggest benefit is the certainty of the significant impact that financial and in-kind contributions have on the lives of our beneficiary learners. We continue to build on our relationships with our existing family of funders, and welcome the opportunity to introduce new funders to our initiatives.
