Zutari representatives braved a heavy downpour to spend a special day with 40 Grade 11s and their tutors at the PROTEC Zutari Learner Excellence Project in Mooiplaas, Eastern Cape – and the weather did not dampen the upbeat spirit of the day!
The learners received certificates for their participation in the exciting activities of the day
The event was fun-filled and educational. Zutari told the learners about their operations around Africa and beyond, and about opportunities and career paths they can explore. The learners also had the chance to ask questions and express their gratitude to the funder for the opportunities they’re being given. Most of them said their grades in Mathematics, English and Physical Sciences had improved dramatically since they joined the programme.
The tutors were also grateful for the opportunity to learn as they teach, especially with e-learning, which has become an integral part of all the PROTEC programmes.
