Learners benefit from the new computers in the ICT Centre
PROTEC Tongaat Branch is in the process of equipping their excellent ICT Centre with 32 new computers and laptops – to date, Allan Gray donated 12 new PC towers and FFS Refiners donated 10 laptops, all of which are most welcome and are working hard.
The ICT Centre is registered with ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence), which enables PROTEC learners to obtain this internationally recognised computer certificate, and provide learners and the greater Tongaat community with access to computers to improve computer literacy. The ICT Centre was established 15 years ago through generous donations of 32 computers by Tongaat Hulett/ UEC and it has had a major impact on the local community’s computer skills over the years.
